 I'm a Certified Home Inspector that brings 8+ years of experience to all my property inspections.  I work with everyone directly or indirectly involved with the inspection process,this includes, Lenders, Realtors, Appraisers, Termite Inspectors and most importantly, my clients whether buying or selling property. I belong to the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI), the world's elite home inspection association. The entire home is checked in accordance with the NACHI Standards of Practice as well as the NACHI Code of Ethics. I perform a complete, thorough inspection, of all visual sections of the property.

My home inspection process is a general course in home ownership and the responsibilities associated with properly maintaining your new home. This is an important consideration for first time buyers as well as the veteran home owner. I will do my best to explain in non-construction language what you can do as a homeowner to maintain your property to keep maintenance or repair costs to a minimum. I hope to educate you on the complexities of your new home. This will help you understand the need for continuous upkeep of your home. Your home is like your car, it needs to have regular maintenance performed on it to function as designed.  The inspection should be an enjoyable process, with give and take information on all sides.
 

I would like to have you walking with me on the inspection so you can see what condition your new home is in and what can be done about fixing any problems uncovered during the inspection. I'm looking for areas that need attention now or possibly in the future.  Obviously the cost of repair or replacement is on your mind and it is also a concern for me also. I address all issues no matter how small they may appear in my inspection.
